Conners birthday cupcakes

Conners birthday was yesterday and I intially wanted to make him a peanut butter and chocolate giant cupcake but his mum made him a cake instead so I thought I would make normal cupcakes for him to take into work for his birthday celebration in work!

I made 6 peanut butter and jelly cupcakes and 6 peanut butter and chocolate cupcakes! I decorated them with chocolate happy birthday too!

They look amazing and my peanut butter frosting is by far the BEST frosting I make.

Best idea I have ever had!!!!

Strawberry and Cream

So the first time I made these I put icing sugar in with the cream and it tasted yummy - but it made the cream go a bit funny, so this time when I made them I just whipped fresh cream to give it that strawbs and cream taste. These cakes were far better than the first ones and the tasted amazing. I took them into work for my new team and they all disappeared within minutes!!! 

Such a simple and easy cupcake to make its almost criminal!!

Competition Cupcakes

So for the competition in work I made 3 different types of cupcakes. The theme of the competition was unusual bakes. So I decided to go with my creative cupcakes. The Jaffa Cake Cupcake - this time with a vanilla sponge, the Tiramisu Cupcake and the Peanut Butter and Jelly Cupcake. I had loads of fun making them and it was good to see my progression as the appearance of the cupcakes was so much better. My frosting is holding amazingly and my swirling and decorating skills are getting better each I bake.

I was really really proud of these cupcakes and it deffo paid off as I can Runner Up! Amazing considering older competition I have entered before I have never won! Must be proving that my skills are getting better! :) 

Busy Bee!!

Okay, I know I haven't posted on here for a while and please accept my apologies! Me and Conner have recently moved house and everythings been a bit up in the air and I haven't done much baking!

But I had a spare 10 minutes so I wanted to write you guys to make sure you knew I hadn't forgotten about you! :)

We have a baking competition in work on Thursday and you know I'm gunna be taking part!!! I know what I am going to be making but I am keeping it a secret for now! Watch this space for more updates!!!

Red Velvet

Okay, so I know I've made these before but on the weekend I bought a star nozzle and I really really wanted to try and do rose like frosting! So this was my second attempt (first were the caramel cupcakes) and I think it went pretty well! Need to practise some more but not bad!!

Lemon Meringue

These cupcakes were made for Danielle, a last minute order last night! Luckily I had all the stuff in so I whipped these up! Just wanted to show you the picture of them in their boxes! I'm so proud of my cupcakes! They look lovely :)
